SUSD Special Education Services recently sent home a Parental Consent form for your signature to allow SUSD to file claims to the Medicaid reimbursement program. The district has provided a letter of explanation and also a copy of the consent form to SEPACS for your further review and understanding.

Last year the district received over $1.6 million from the Federal government for services that SUSD children received in school. These dollars are coming from the "No Child Left Behind" law that all children are entitled to an education appropriate to their level.
